CMA – Central Marketing Organisation of German Agricultural Industries
CMA stands for Centrale Marketing-Gesellschaft der deutschen Agrarwirtschaft mbH (Central Marketing Organisation of German Agricultural Industries). Its primary responsibility is to promote and market German agricultural, food and drink products. CMA is headquartered in Bonn, Germany and has several branch offices around the world.
Our branch office for Central and Eastern Europe (CMA-CEE) was established in Vienna, Austria, during the spring of 2006 and is dealing with the following countries of the CEE region: Austria, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Romania and Bulgaria.
Responsibilities and Objectives of CMA – CEE
- To promote the sale of German agricultural, food and beverage products using modern marketing methods such as fairs and exhibitions, related events and PR activities in these countries
- To facilitate market entry for German exporters in CEE
- To liaise and establish business contacts between exporters, importers, retailers and consumers of German food and beverages
